You personal information will be collect by us when you register on our website, place an order, enter a competition and communicate with our customers services team.

We collect your personal information to process your order, manage your account and correspond with you if there are any problems processing your order.
With your consent, email you with special offers on other products and services you may be interested in.
In order for us to complete your order your personal information will be shared with our carriers so they can deliver your order.
We do not collect your credit card or banking details. Online payments are handled by our payment provider.
We do not transfer your data outside of the EU.

Shipping Policy
STANDARD DELIVERY
Dolmen Hampers dispatch and process orders Monday to Friday during normal business hours (9am-5pm), excluding bank holidays. If you order on a weekend your order will not be processed until the next working day. We can not guarantee specific delivery dates or times. Our processing generally takes one day with a view to ship on the same day if order is placed before 12 noon (during busy times like Easter/Christmas etc this may be longer due to high volumes of orders), and shipping can take one to two business days depending on location within Ireland, international deliveries can be longer (for busy periods like Easter/Christmas shipping can also take longer, due to increase in packages with our carrier company).
ORDER TRACKING
Once your hamper or gift order is processed, packed and leaves the Dolmen Hamper warehouse, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can track its progress.
SIGNING
Our delivery partners often require the recipient to sign for the order. If the recipient is not at home when the driver attempts delivery they will make contact with them to arrange re-delivery or to leave it in a safe and secure place.
When necessary the driver is instructed to use their discretion to leave the parcel with a neighbour, or safe place. Please complete the mobile number field in the recipient’s address section to allow for re-delivery if necessary.
FRUIT HAMPER ORDERS
Please note that due to our fruit and vegetables being fresh, if a hamper order is placed on a Friday for example, we will not ship it until the following Monday. This will also be the same during Christmas and holiday periods where there are more than 2 days of holiday or weekend grouped together.
HOSPITAL, OFFICE AND BUSINESS DELIVERIES
For deliveries to hospitals, universities and work addresses our drivers are required only to deliver to the noted address, and not directly to the recipient. Dolmen Hampers cannot be held responsible for delays incurred from the parcel being delivered to the address and being received by the recipient.
Deliveries to hospitals must always include the ward name/number. Please also check that the hospital in question will allow deliveries of food/drink items to the particular ward.
DELAYS
Although Dolmen Hampers try our hardest to maintain our prompt delivery service there will be exceptional circumstances when this cannot occur. Delivery times can change depending on the time of the year, holiday periods, Christmas, weekends, extreme weather conditions and customs security delays are outside of our control.
They are also affected in the event of you not supplying a full correct address, like a wrong postcode for example. In events such as these please contact us for more details as your delivery may take longer. Please always ensure the delivery address is correct as we cannot offer reimbursement if the wrong address is supplied.
RESTRICTIONS
If you are purchasing alcohol the hamper recipient must be over 18 and will be required to sign on delivery. Licensing agreements for hamper companies state that you are unable to send alcohol to yourself. You must be purchasing it for another person and sending it to their address.
Due to several countries’ customs regulations which are beyond the control of Dolmen Hampers, there are certain countries we cannot deliver our hampers to. These will be seen when selecting your hamper. Due to food import regulations we are unable to ship Food items to China. Alcohol and other liquids can not be shipped outside of Ireland.
INVOICING
Whilst our standard practice is to never include an invoice in the hamper going out, due to a majority of them going to the recipient, however there will be a receipt with the price emailed to you immediately upon ordering.

Refunds & Returns
Thank you for shopping at Dolmen Hampers. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we’re here to assist you with any concerns you may have regarding refunds.
Refund Eligibility
- Non-Perishable Items: We offer refunds for non-perishable items within 14 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be in its original condition and packaging, unopened, and unused.
- Perishable Items: Perishable items, such as food products, including hampers, are generally non-refundable unless they are damaged or defective. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately to arrange for a replacement or refund.
Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Send an email to notify us of your refund request and we will get back to you promptly.
- Provide Information: Include your order number, the reason for the refund request, and any relevant details or photos, especially if the item is damaged or defective.
- Approval: We will review your request and inform you of its approval status. If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item (if applicable).
- Return Items (if required): If a return is necessary, please return the item to us in its original packaging and condition within the specified time frame. Return shipping costs may be your responsibility.
- Processing: Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and process the refund, which may take 10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Exceptions
Some items or conditions may not be eligible for a refund:
- Gift cards and downloadable software products are non-refundable.
- Custom or personalized items are non-refundable, except in the case of defects or errors.
